- Playing songs requires an Apple Music subscription, sold separately by Apple. Music Wall’s purchase does not include Apple Music.
Common questions
The wall is empty or says it can’t read my library
Music Wall needs permission to read your Apple Music library. Open Settings › Privacy & Security › Media & Apple Music and turn on Music Wall. If Screen Time is on, check Settings › Screen Time › Content & Privacy Restrictions as well.
Make sure your library has albums or playlists in the Music app, and that you are signed in to the same Apple Account. You can reload it with Refresh Library in Music Wall’s Settings › Library.
Songs won’t play
- Check that your Apple Music subscription is active in the Music app.
- Some songs aren’t available in every country or have been removed from Apple Music.
- If the Music app asks you to accept new terms, open it once and accept them.
- Check your internet connection, then try again.
Lyrics are missing for a song
Lyrics come from LRCLIB, a community lyrics database, and not every song has them yet. Lyrics can be turned on or off in Settings › Player › Show lyrics.
How does the free trial work?
Every feature is free for 24 hours, starting when you tap the button on the last welcome page. During the trial you can buy Music Wall at a lower trial price.
After the trial you can still browse your wall; everything else needs a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription and never renews.
iPhone and iPad share one trial. A Mac has its own. Deleting and reinstalling the app does not start a new trial.
I bought Music Wall. How do I unlock it on another device?
Sign in with the same Apple Account and open Music Wall; it unlocks automatically. If it doesn’t, tap Restore Purchase on the purchase page or in Settings. One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Can my family use it?
Yes. Music Wall supports Family Sharing. Family members open the app with their own Apple Account, and it unlocks once Family Sharing is on for purchases.
How do I ask for a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose Music Wall.
How do I add a widget?
Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget, search for Music Wall, choose a size, then tap Add Widget. To change a widget’s style, touch and hold it and choose Edit Widget.
How do I shake on a Mac?
Press and hold on the wall, then move the pointer quickly from side to side a few times. You can also choose Controls › Play a Random Song in the menu bar, or press ⌘R.
